The Colorado Beer Distributors Association (CBDA) is the state-wide trade organization representing Colorado’s beer distributors and proudly defends the Three-Tier System while advocating on legislative, regulatory, legal, and public policy matters. In Colorado, beer distributors provide nearly 8,000 direct and indirect jobs and contribute $1.5 billion in total economic impact. We worked with the CBDA team to update some of their marketing collateral to support their work in the Three-Tier System.

Our Work
While the three-tier system is simple in theory – manufacturers provide alcoholic products to wholesalers, who distribute the products to retailers, who sell to the consumers – many consumers don’t fully understand the system and the many benefits it provides. Our work with the CBDA is centered around communicating the importance of the system and its benefits. The CBDA was in need of some updated imagery so we spent time at a few of CBDA’s member distributors around Colorado shooting photos to update their image library. With updated photography ready to go, we created a leave-behind booklet that simplified the three-tier system and is seen by everyone from consumers to Colorado’s legislators.
