The Colorado Beer Distributors Association (CBDA) is the state-wide trade organization representing Colorado’s beer distributors and proudly defends the Three-Tier System while advocating on legislative, regulatory, legal, and public policy matters. In Colorado, beer distributors provide nearly 8,000 direct and indirect jobs and contribute $1.5 billion in total economic impact. In 2021, CBDA and its board of governors wanted to begin a charitable foundation to support the industry with educational scholarships. Outside Voice has been working with CBDA since the beginning and was proud to work to promote the new foundation and scholarship program to Colorado’s beer industry.

Our Work
CBDA reached out asking for support in bringing their vision for a charitable foundation to life and help promote the initial launch of the Foundation and the scholarship. We began by creating a new logo for the Foundation that stayed true to their current brand and identity. We created marketing and communications materials for CBDA members to download and promote within their own channels and after the initial successful launch, we produced a short video in 2022 to boost applicants as support for the program continued to grow with their members. We visited one of CBDA’s member distributors and spoke with the Foundation’s board and two scholarship receipts to tell their impactful story. Today, the Foundation continues to provide more and more scholarships to industry employees and their families with bigger dollar amounts thanks to CBDA’s members.
