The Challenge
The National Center for Applied Reproduction and Genomics (NCARG) represents a collaborative effort between faculty from the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Designed to serve as a national training hub, the Center aims to deliver impactful educational programs tailored to veterinary students, practicing veterinarians, genetics providers, pharmaceutical industry professionals, and producers. The ultimate goal is to build a skilled workforce capable of leveraging reproductive and genomic technologies to drive success in beef cattle production. To achieve this, NCARG needed a compelling brand identity to elevate their fundraising initiatives and establish themselves as the definitive leader in this specialized field. Outside Voice was honored to collaborate with NCARG leadership and the University of Missouri to develop the branding and visual identity for this innovative national center.

The Solution
Our process began with in-depth research and discovery to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specialized field of reproduction and genomics, as well as the Center’s mission to become the premier learning hub for the livestock industry. This included exploring how the Center would function as both a physical training facility and a digital resource for education and innovation.
From this foundation, we developed multiple creative concepts and delivered a complete suite of brand assets, including the visual identity, tagline, and even building signage, ensuring every touchpoint aligned with the Center’s vision and goals.

The Results
The branding and identity developed by Outside Voice established a solid foundation for NCARG and the University of Missouri to achieve long-term growth and success. By creating a compelling and cohesive visual identity, we positioned NCARG as a leader in reproductive and genomic education, enabling them to stand out in a niche but competitive industry. The new brand not only supported their immediate fundraising goals but also provided a versatile platform to expand their reach, attract top talent, and foster partnerships within the livestock and veterinary sectors. This forward-thinking approach ensured that NCARG is recognized as an innovative authority, paving the way for sustained impact and leadership in the field.
